hacker LoL stop being sterotypical, my next door neighbours are old and there's only two of them and they got a seven setter and they aint asians :|

a larger family is a happy family, in china your only allowed one child, hence the reason the majority of the population is male. Traditionally in the west a complete family was seen as a family of four; 2 parents (male and female :P ) and 2 children (girl and boy) :D

the bigger the family, the more people, the more arguments etc...

but that ain't true coz a family of 3 could have loads of arguments...

so you can't say that generally a bigger family is a happy one...

but bigger the family the more responsiblities the parents will have!

IVF = In Vitro Fertilisation.

Basically it's a "test tube" baby, where the male's sperm and female's egg is fertilised outside of the body. Once they have been fused together properly in a lab, it is then injected back in to the woman's uterus, so that it can fuse with the uterus wall and develop a placenta, and then eventually grow in to a healthy fetus.

There are other methods of artificially aiding fertilisation, other than relying on just IVF.

Also.... IVF increases the chances of not only pregnancy, but also multiple pregnancy, because several eggs are taken from the woman to increase the chances of a successful pregnancy. You might end up with twins or triplets or even quadruplets through this method :)

No, not at all Shaf.

You're still fusing a REAL egg and a REAL sperm. The only difference is that they are fused in controlled conditions outside of a human body. It's only one step that's being aided, everything else is still natural. Besides, the baby isn't being "born" in a lab, it is being CONCEIVED in a lab. Huge difference :p

There are no problems with the results, infact IVF treatment is highly successful. And if it gives a couple the chance to have children, and they were previously unable to, then I don't see the problem.
